1. About these terms
These Terms of Sale apply when a customer buys goods from KINN-WELD LTD through kinnweldgroup.com. They should be read with the product page, checkout information, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and Privacy Policy. Nothing in them limits mandatory consumer rights.
2. Who we are
KINN-WELD LTD, Company No. SC648645, registered office Argyll House, Quarrywood Court, Livingston, Scotland, EH54 6AX, United Kingdom. VAT No. GB 344 3922 02. Email: support@kinnweldgroup.com.
3. Ordering and contract formation
By submitting an order, you offer to buy the goods shown in your basket. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not mean acceptance. A contract is formed when we send dispatch confirmation, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Each separately dispatched parcel may form a separate contract.
4. When we may reject or cancel an order
We may reject or cancel before dispatch if goods are unavailable; payment is not authorised; fraud or misuse is suspected; delivery restrictions apply; customer information is materially incomplete; or the price or description contains an obvious error. If payment has been taken, we will refund it.
5. Products and compatibility
Products must be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with instructions and warnings. Dimensions and colours may vary within reasonable tolerances. Customers are responsible for checking vehicle fit and compatibility from the information provided and asking before purchase if uncertain. This does not affect rights where information is inaccurate or goods are faulty.
6. Prices, VAT and payment
The price is the amount shown at checkout when the order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors. UK consumer prices include VAT where applicable. Delivery and other charges are displayed before ordering. Payment methods are those available at checkout; payment must be authorised.
7. Delivery
We dispatch from the UK and normally process orders in 1–2 business days. Standard UK delivery is estimated at 3–5 business days after dispatch and costs £4.99, with free standard delivery for eligible UK orders of £50 or more. Full terms, including international customs, delays and address issues, appear in the Shipping Policy.
8. Ownership and risk
Responsibility for accidental loss or damage normally passes to a consumer when the goods are delivered to the consumer or their nominated recipient. Ownership passes when we receive payment in full and the goods are dispatched, unless the law provides otherwise.
9. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Consumers usually have 14 days after delivery to notify us of cancellation and a further 14 days to return goods. We also offer a 30-day voluntary return period for eligible goods. KINN-WELD LTD pays reasonable standard postage for authorised returns. Approved refunds are issued within 7 days after receipt. Full conditions and exceptions appear in the Return & Refund Policy.
10. Faulty goods
Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality as required by law. Contact us promptly if there is a problem. Depending on the circumstances and legal rights, remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
11. Promotions
Promotional codes and offers are subject to their stated dates, eligibility, exclusions and availability. Unless stated otherwise, codes cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied after purchase. A refund may reflect the actual discounted price paid.
12. Our responsibility
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach. We are not responsible for loss caused by misuse, installation contrary to instructions, unauthorised modification, ordinary wear and tear, or events outside reasonable control, except where the law says otherwise.
13. Events outside reasonable control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect and contact affected customers where appropriate. Consumer remedies for material delay remain available.
14. Personal data
We use personal data as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Scottish law. Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers retain mandatory protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK or country where they live. Please contact support@kinnweldgroup.com first so we can try to resolve a concern.
16. Other terms
If any provision is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a business transfer, provided this does not reduce consumer rights. Customers may transfer rights only where the law allows or with our written agreement. No person other than the customer and KINN-WELD LTD has rights under the contract, except where the law requires otherwise.
